Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services is a regional service provider formed in 1972 by the local governments of Planning District 9 (Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock). The mission of the Community Services Board is to improve the quality of life of the citizens of Planning District 9 by providing comprehensive behavioral health, intellectual disability, substance use disorder, and aging services.
The Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services Board was created as a result of the acts of the Virginia General Assembly and the Federal Older Americans Act and is established in conformance with the Code of Virginia.
Board members serve staggered three-year terms.
